A person is eligible for regular membership if they have received a degree from Brown University. Additionally, those who are eligible also include:
- a faculty member or officer or other holder of a University appointment for at least one full academic year.
- a member of any Board or Committee of the University.
- a student in good standing in any department of the University for at least one full semester.
A person is eligible for an associate membership if they are:
- A parent or guardian of a alumnus or of a current student in good standing with the University.
