Professor Neumann’s walls are plastered with prestigious teaching awards, yet he remains an approachable educator whose engaging and informative lectures are consistently cited as student’s favorites during their time at Brown.

We’re delighted that the good professor will be in San DIego speaking about “Light and Architecture: Louis Kahn and Richard Kelly.” Kahn, the great mid-century architect, is known for designing the modern masterpiece — the Salk Institute in La Jolla. Kelly, a pioneer in architectural illumination, collaborated with Kahn on projects to enhance the impact of the built environment.Salk
